WHAT TO PREPARE:
A musical theatre song! Take a listen to the songs from Joseph to get a sense of the show. Then pick a song from a musical that shows off your voice and acting at your best. We recommend a song that is well-rehearsed and something you're very familiar with rather than a brand new song. All auditions should be "off-book" with no lyrics in hand so we can see your face. Songs will be a cappella (without piano).
Please prepare 30 seconds to a minute of your song. Try to pick a part that shows off some range whether in the pitch, tone or acting and please have the part fully memorized (no lyric sheets)
If you need some help choosing a song, we have put together a list of songs you're welcome to choose from instead. But your own choice is also welcome!
